I am currently a postdoctoral researcher in Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL) and University of California Berkeley (UCB), co-supervised by Dr. Ravi Prasher (UCB/LBNL) and Dr. Sean Lubner (BU/MIT). I obtained my Ph.D. degree from Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, University of California San Diego, supervised by Prof. Renkun Chen. My research interest lies in advanced thermal energy storage materials and systems for water-energy nexus. I study the fundamental heat transfer mechanisms from molecular- to system-scale and leverage these understandings into developing next-generation materials and systems for thermal storage, desalination, water harvesting, building energy efficiency and personal thermal-moisture comfort. More information about my research can be found in Research Project.
